I'm heavily influenced by David Lynch's perspective on "Ideas"
He likes to compare ideas with fishing, you start by desiring to find somethin, that's the bait on the hook. The first few fishes you get are little, just little fragments of your ideas that might not make sense at all.
But, this first fish is another bait that lets you explore more.
You keep exploring, sticking true to your vision and follow the fishes that align with your idea even when some ideas might seem Like a total waste.
the deeper you go, the bigger the fish
and bigger the fish, more powerful and beautiful the idea becomes
I apply this principle to everything I create, I try not to settle with the first idea that works, I explore, I keep fishing until I find the bigger fish
